November 5, new edition of the Breastfeeding Conference
It is organized by the SJD Health Park, together with the Sant Boi City Council, the Catalan Institute of Health, the Breast Milk Bank and the Areola group, in collaboration with the SJD Teaching Campus.
This year it will be held at the Health Park and will host a talk on weaning with Alba Padró, certified IBCLC consultant, and an infant massage workshop.
The next one November 5, the Dr. Antoni Pujadas Auditorium and the Teaching Campus will host a new edition of the Breastfeeding conference, with the aim of reaching all those families from Baix Llobregat with breastfeeding babies.
The meeting is co-organized by the SJD Health Park, the Sant Boi City Council, the Catalan Institute of Health, the Breast Milk Bank and the Areola group, in collaboration with the SJD Teaching Campus. The event, which this year changes its location to be held at SJD Health Park facilities, will feature two activities:
- 4 p.m. Children's massage workshop (located at the SJD Teaching Campus), with Rebeca Heras, nurse specializing in breastfeeding at the SJD Sant Boi Hospital, and Mònica Isidro, midwife at the Sexual and Reproductive Health Care Service (ASSIR) in Baix Llobregat Centre. Limited to 40 families (two people per child) with prior registration through the following link.
- 5:30 p.m. Presentation 'Weaning: what it is and keys to achieving it' (Dr. Antoni Pujadas Auditorium), with Alba Padro, IBCLC consultant in breastfeeding and founder of LactApp, a pioneering application in the femtech sector that provides personalized support to breastfeeding mothers. The meeting is free, limited only by the capacity of the space.
