Hospital SJD Sant Boi one of the best hospitals in the TOP 20 Awards
At the TOP 20 Awards gala, the Hospital picked up its seventh prize in the Global Hospital Management category which recognises facilities delivering quality healthcare with the utmost efficiency and best resource management
The Gastrointestinal department and Gastrointestinal Surgery teams were additionally acknowledged in their category, setting a new milestone by winning this award for the first time
The Hospital was also nominated in Women's Health and the Nervous System
Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu has been recognised once again in the Top 20 Awards, presented annually by consulting firm IQVIA, which acknowledge excellence in hospitals nationwide. During the awards ceremony, which took place yesterday, the Parc Sanitari SJD was named winner in the Global Hospital Management category and also for the first time in Gastrointestinal care.
This is the seventh time that the Hospital has received this award for Global Hospital Management in the medium-sized public hospital category. This accolade is awarded to hospitals that deliver high-quality healthcare with utmost efficiency through optimal resource management.
In the Gastrointestinal category, the Hospital picked up the award ahead of other hospitals of its size. This recognition is a major milestone for the Gastrointestinal and Gastrointestinal Surgery departments, underscoring their joint efforts and commitment to continuing to strive for professional excellence.
In addition to these prizes, the hospital was also nominated in the Nervous System and Women's Health categories where it has been awarded nine times.

Spanning more than two decades, the TOP 20 Awards are a benchmark in the Spanish healthcare sector. They divide hospitals into several categories to enable comparison between similar facilities and management contexts. Hospitals can enter voluntarily and free of charge, and they are assessed solely on the basis of objective, standardised quantitative quality and healthcare management indicators. This year, 190 public and private facilities entered.
