11 February: International Day of Women and Girls in Science

On 11 February to mark International Day of Women and Girls in Science, Parc Sanitari SJD researchers and upper secondary school students from the Llor Foundation discussed the challenges of doing research as a woman.

Although more women are currently beginning doctoral programmes and research, even now few end up in leadership positions. This is sure to change in the future as more and more girls have women involved in science and technology as role models who encourage them not to set limits on their ambitions.

At the Parc, we are striving to ensure that research has no gender restrictions.
