The Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu, through SJD Formació and in collaboration with the Catalan Association of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis (ACLAE), is launching for the first time the Specialty Diploma in Logotherapy and Existential Analysis, an innovative training programme that will begin in October 2026 at the Rise Center.
Based on the legacy of Viktor Frankl, psychiatrist and founder of logotherapy, the programme invites participants to incorporate an approach centred on the meaning of life, values and the capabilities of each person. In a social context marked by uncertainty, disillusionment and the need for new role models, this discipline offers tools to understand people more deeply and accompany them in their moments of greatest vulnerability.
300 teaching hours
The training is mainly aimed at professionals in the healthcare, social and educational fields, as well as those involved in team management and the support of personal and organisational processes. The aim is to expand resources and acquire new tools to face professional challenges from an integrative and humanist perspective.
With a total duration of 300 hours, the diploma will combine face-to-face sessions, independent study and online activities. Classes will primarily take place at the Rise Center and will include theoretical content, methodological seminars and exercises aimed at participants’ self-knowledge and personal development.
The programme has been structured into four modules covering the foundations of logotherapy and existential analysis, as well as their practical application in areas such as prevention, crisis care, grief support or support for people facing illness and end-of-life processes.

One of the distinguishing features of the diploma is its teaching staff, made up of professionals of national and international prestige specialising in mental health, psychotherapy and spiritual accompaniment.
