On 10 June, representatives from the Charity and Fundraising area of the Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu and Sant Joan de Déu Social Work received a visit from members of SICAME Group, as part of the collaboration agreement to support the project “Transformation of long-term psychiatric care through the network of community support homes.”

Through its endowment fund, SICAME Group —one of the world leaders in equipment and service solutions for electrical networks— made a contribution of 20,000 euros, reinforcing the Park’s commitment to more dignified, community-based, and person-centred care.

Committed to mental health

In the words of Nadine Valet, Vice President of the Endowment Fund: “The Sicame endowment fund, actively committed to mental health, is delighted to support Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu in carrying out its project to help and support people with mental health disorders.”

Since 2017, in line with the values of Sicame Group, its endowment fund has supported associations and foundations in the medical, social, and disability sectors.

Attendees included: Olga Mitjavila, Director of Human Resources (Iberia and Latam), Said Lalaouna, Director of the SBU Commercial & Industrial and member of the executive committee of SICAME Group, Daniel Rodríguez, Director of Sicame Spain, Jordi Antolín, Head of the Fundraising Area of the Sant Joan de Déu Social Work, José Luis Argudo, Director of Solidarity Development and Cooperation and Director of Patient Management of the SJD Health Park and Francesc Garreta, Head of Fundraising and Projects of the SJD Health Park

With initiatives like this, we make possible a real transformation of the care model, bringing mental health closer to the community and building dignified and inclusive living environments for all.
