New edition of the SJD 2025 Nursing Assistant Care Technicians Conference
The event will take place on 1 October in a hybrid format at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona, with prior registration required by 26 September
The event will focus on the evolution and current challenges of TCAI professionals within the healthcare system, with continuous training as a key factor for their growth.
This is the 3rd edition of the conference, co-organized this year with Hospital Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona and SJD Teaching Campus.
On 1 October, the SJD 2025 Nursing Assistant Technicians Conference, accredited by the Catalan Council for Continuing Education, will take place in a hybrid format at the SJD Paediatric Cancer Centre Barcelona Auditorium.
Co-organized by Hospital Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona, SJD Teaching Campus, and Parc Sanitari SJD, the event is designed as a space for reflection on the evolution and challenges faced by TCAI professionals. It will highlight their essential role in the current and future healthcare system, their contribution to patient care, and the importance of continuous training to adapt to changes in the healthcare environment.
Through lectures, panel discussions, and oral presentations, professionals will interact, share experiences, and discuss key competencies needed to advance their work and address the challenges of modern healthcare.
Are you a TCAI (Nursing Assistant Technician)? Share your experience by actively participating
The conference will feature two thematic sessions for the presentation of 16 contributions by TCAI professionals. To participate and be considered for selection, submit a summary of up to 250 words, including the title, full name, and workplace, to hospitalbarcelona.jornadatcae@sjd.es. The submission deadline is 20 June.
From all submissions received, 16 will be selected for presentation at the conference, with the best contribution from each session awarded.

FORMAT: Hybrid, with previous registration for both modalities
