Save the date: 22 September, CNA SJD Conference 2026
Jointly organised by Parc Sanitari, the SJD Teaching Campus and Hospital SJD Barcelona, the event is a leading forum for the entire nursing assistant community
Practitioners wishing to present their work have until 2 June to submit their applications
On 22 September, the SJD 2026 Conference for Nursing Assistants will take place in a hybrid format, featuring an in-person component at the Dr Antoni Pujadas Auditorium in Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu, under the tagline “Training and innovation: growing our profession”.
Jointly organised by Parc Sanitari SJD, the SJD Teaching Campus and Hospital Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona, the event provides a venue for the entire nursing assistant community to come together, exchange ideas and learn through real-life experiences, best practices and opportunities for discussion.
Over the course of the conference, attendees will be able to interact, share stories and explore the key role of nursing assistants in an ever-changing healthcare landscape, addressing continuing professional development, gaining new skills and innovation in care delivery and quality anchored in a humanised and safe approach.

The conference will include two thematic sessions hosting 16 short presentations by nursing assistant practitioners.
If you'd like to take part and be considered for selection, please email an abstract of no more than 250 words, including the title, your full name and workplace, to parcsanitari.jornada.tcais@sjd.es.
The submission deadline is 2 June.
Are you a nursing assistant and would like to attend?
The conference programme will be published in early June and registration will open. As a new feature this year, five workshops will be held which will be included in the fee for the in-person option.
