The Magic Line SJD helps to fund four projects promoted by the Parc Sanitari
Nearly 70,000 euros will be distributed among these initiatives that benefit more than 700 users
The Obra Social de SJD has announced the different social projects to which the Magic Line SJD contributes at an event at the Antiga Fàbrica Damm. This year, this solidarity initiative will allocate nearly 70,000 euros to four projects led by the Parc Sanitari SJD, benefiting over 700 users.
The selected initiatives are:
- Autonomy and community participation itineraries for adults with ASD.
A project that aims to improve the quality of life and social inclusion of people with autism spectrum disorder through complementary itineraries. These routes combine therapeutic, sporting, cultural, educational, and real participation activities in community environments.
- Intervention model with social aids for the continuity of care and the exercise of rights of people in vulnerable situations.
This initiative responds to situations of economic vulnerability that hinder or prevent therapeutic continuity, access to basic rights, and the recovery processes of the people cared for at the Parc. It is particularly aimed at people in situations of greater vulnerability, such as those who are homeless, migrants, or with mental health problems. These are one-off, flexible financial aids that adapt to each situation and allow needs such as transport or medication, among others, to be covered.
- Recupera’t: therapeutic and community itineraries for autonomy and social inclusion in highly complex young people.
The programme is aimed at young people between 14 and 25 years old with intellectual disabilities and mental health disorders who are part of the Recupera’t unit driven by the Parc SJD. This is a project that aims to combine clinical, educational, and community care in the different activities proposed. These activities are initially carried out within the unit itself and are progressively developed in increasingly open environments, which favours personal and social growth.
- 360º Emotions
It is an innovative pilot project that uses glasses-free immersive technology to work on the emotional management of people with ASD and other mental health disorders. The aim of this initiative is to evaluate the effectiveness of this technology to advance towards more innovative treatments that put the person at the centre.
Thanks to all the people who participate in the Magic Line SJD, a contribution is made to driving projects that generate a direct impact on the improvement of care, inclusion, and the quality of life of people.
