Nearly 70,000 euros will be distributed among these initiatives that benefit more than 700 users.

TheSJD Social Work has announced at an event at the Antiga Fàbrica Damm the different social projects with which the company contributes Magic Line SJD. This year, this solidarity initiative will allocate nearly 70,000 euros to four projects led by the SJD Health Park and which benefit more than 700 users.

The selected initiatives are:

  • Itineraries of autonomy and community participation for adults with ASD.

A project that aims to improve the quality of life and social inclusion of people with autism spectrum disorder through complementary itineraries. These routes combine therapeutic, sporting, cultural, educational and real participation activities in community settings.

  • Intervention model with social aid for the continuity of care and the exercise of rights of people in vulnerable situations.

This initiative responds to situations of economic vulnerability that hinder or prevent therapeutic continuity, access to basic rights and the recovery processes of people treated at the Park. It is especially aimed at people in situations of greater vulnerability, such as those who are homeless, migrants or with mental health problems. These are financial, one-time and flexible aids that adapt to each situation and allow you to cover needs such as transportation or medication, among others.

  • Recover: therapeutic and community itineraries for autonomy and social inclusion in young people with high complexity.

The program is aimed at young people between 14 and 25 years old with intellectual disabilities and mental disorders who are part of the Recupera't unit promoted by Parc SJD. This is a project that aims to combine clinical, educational and community care in the different activities proposed. These activities are first developed within the same unit and are progressively developed in increasingly open environments, which favors personal and social growth.

  • Emotions in 360º

It is an innovative pilot project that uses immersive technology without glasses to work on the emotional management of people with ASD and other mental health disorders. The objective of this initiative is to evaluate the effectiveness of this technology to advance towards more innovative treatments that put the person at the center.

Thanks to all the people who participate in the Magic Line SJD, we contribute to promoting projects that generate a direct impact on improving people's care, inclusion and quality of life.
